New this year is a Derby Hat Contest (sponsored by Sterling Bank). A derby hat doesn't need to cost much and it doesn't have to be big. The idea is to coordinate it with your attire and make it as gaudy as you can! The winning men's and women's derby attire will get an amazing prize!

Gather up your friends or co-workers and get your Winner's Circle take at the popular PDX Photo Lounge (sponsored by the Aurora Airport Owners Association). We know you will already have your derby hats, but with other fun props you can take new pictures all night long!

The Dessert Dash is back again this year (sponsored by Marquis Wilsonville). Make sure you sit at a table full of people who like what you do! For those who haven't participated in a Dessert Dash before - here are the simple rules. Your table will decide how much it wants to bid to win the right to select the dessert of your dreams. Our Special Event Committee volunteers will gather the bid envelopes during the event and tally them up. The table who bid the most money gets the first choice for dessert...but wait, the next highest bidding table will be chasing after you in 15 seconds! And so on until all of the tables have desserts!
