Who is Wilson C. Bear?
Kevin Ferrasci O’Malley, CEO of the Wilsonville Area Chamber of Commerce, announced that after a rigorous application process, Wilson C. Bear has been selected as the brand-new mascot for the Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce!
“Our Board of Directors felt that 2020 has been a very tough year for both our Wilsonville businesses and our residents,” said Ferrasci-O’Malley. “We wanted to try to figure out a way to add a little bit of fun and joy. The consensus was that we should have a mascot, a cheerleader for our Community. Wilson C. Bear was far and away our best applicant for this job. In his interviews, he showed great enthusiasm, commitment, and pride in our city of Wilsonville.” Ferrasci-O’Malley said that “Wilson C. Bear is a fun, lovable bear whose job it is to champion our local businesses and to connect our entire Wilsonville community in a fun way.”
