About the Speaker: 

Olive is a professional singer, songwriter, screenwriter, columnist, brand marketing specialist and ethicist, Olive grew up in a small town in the Poconos, is the mother of two, and earned her BA in Humanities from Case Western Reserve and MFA in Screenwriting from the American Film Institute. She appeared in her first radio commercial at 17, wrote and produced her first national branding and commercial radio campaign at 21, and started her first two companies, Morning Glory Productions, and Lorry Music (ASCAP), a music publishing company, in 1973.  Olive founded Personal Best ® in Los Angeles in 1985 after retiring from her recording and performance career.  Olive first created “The Inner Bottom Line ®” in LA as a TV interview show in 1988, and it then became the title of her nationally syndicated weekly print column that ran from 1996 until 2014.
