Focusing on market-ready skills, Clackamas Community College, Pioneer Pacific College and the Oregon Institute of Technology all are institutions that react to what businesses in the area need to help provide an educated and qualified workforce. Whether it is lineman training at Clackamas Community for linemen at Portland General Electric (which is also located in Wilsonville), or the Certified Medical Assistant program at Pioneer, or a Bachelor’s of Science from OIT, the local higher education institutions shift programs to meet business needs.

Oregon Institute of Technology, the state’s premier university of advanced engineering and technology is consolidating four Portland-area campuses to one campus in Wilsonville.

Clackamas Community College Wilsonville’s campus is focused on apprenticeship training, advanced technical skills training and general education courses to complete Associates of Applied Science and Transfer degrees. They offer advising, enrollment services, testing, and counseling services to students in conjunction with our full-service Oregon City campus to serve the community of Wilsonville. CCC-Wilsonville has a long-standing partnership with Portland General Electric to share resources and work together to strengthen the skills of workforce needs. The Campus includes a Small Business Development Center with a variety of resources to help businesses get started, grow or thrive.

Pioneer Pacific College
 is a private vocational-education institution with two Wilsonville campuses, including one dedicated to healthcare-related training.  PPC is the right college for you! Pioneer Pacific College offers you the convenience of five campuses, job placement assistance and the experience of more than 25 years of educating professionals for better careers.

West Linn-Wilsonville School District ( is one of Oregon’s top-ranked school districts, serves Wilsonville north of the Willamette River with three elementary schools, a middle school, high school, a special charter high school and environmental studies center.  Canby School District serves Charbonneau area south of the Willamette River.
