    As the state's premier non-partisan business advocate, AOI represents its members before the legislature and state agencies for issues that pertain to: Education and Workforce Development, Employment Practices, Environment and Energy, Health Care, Retail, Fiscal Policy, and Transportation.

    The Alliance has direct and ongoing contact with local, regional, state and federal policy makers on issues of importance to Clackamas County business. Our relationships with key decision-makers and their staff allows for positive and constructive dialogue on business issues. These relationships offer a mutual benefit to not only to our members, but to those officials and their staff as well as they frequently attend Alliance events, meetings and forums to better understand the concerns and desires of their local business community.

    Chamber CEO, Steve Gilmore, has served on the CCBA Board of Directors for the past 2 years.

To assist members in achieving the goals of their respective events. To do this we,  provide opportunities for education, promotion, networking and leadership development and promote a better understanding of the contributions of special events within the State of Oregon that enhance the quality of life within each community. 


    Chamber Membership & Events Director, Brandi Hereford, serves as the Vice President on the OFEA Board and various committees since March 2010.

    Oregon State Chamber of CommerceThe Oregon State Chamber of Commerce (OSCC) is an association of chambers of commerce. It is dedicated to preserving the competitive enterprise system of business by creating a better understanding and appreciation of the importance of a strong economy while contributing to the growth and professionalism of the industry.


    Having grown out of the Oregon Chamber Executives, this organization elevates the prominence and image of local chambers and provides a forum for sharing of ideas, management processes and new technology. OSCC is now the central point for joint efforts on behalf of local chambers in legislative affairs, economic development and organizational growth.


    Chamber CEO, Steve Gilmore, was elected onto the OSCC Board in October 2011 at the Annual Meeting. Chamber Membership & Events Director, Brandi Hereford, has served as the OSCC Publications & Communications Award Chair and Conference Committee Member since 2008.

    The Chamber’s CEO Steve Gilmore is a graduate the US Chamber’s  Institute for Organizational Management program, which is one of the oldest professional development programs in the nation.  Chamber staff Brandi Hereford is also attending this program and will be graduating from the program in 2013.

    Westside Economic Alliance is a proactive organization that invites private sector employers, non-profit organizations, and real estate developers to sit at the same table as community leaders to shape local public policy. The result is a unique partnership that benefits both the businesses and communities of the Westside.

    By providing a business perspective in the public forum, serving as a source of information and expertise on key public policy issues, and encouraging job creation and economic development, Westside Economic Alliance plays a leading role in managing this high growth region.
